The Picasso railcar from the 1950’s lets you discover the 22 km of the line, in a friendly and deliciously retro atmosphere. Why “Picasso”? It was the name given to this Railcar by railway workers, because the driving kiosk placed on the side of the roof gives it a quirky look like the faces painted by the artist.

SCHOOLS
The Picasso railcar welcomes school groups of 50 or more.
Young people: from 3 to 18 years old - Duration: approximately 1 hour
Discover the “Haut Bocage Vendéen”! Departure from Mortagne-sur-Sèvre station where we find the railway architecture of the time. Mortagne-sur-Sèvre and Les Herbiers are 22 km apart, during 1-hour we discover this picturesque line and the 3 valleys crossed on magnificent viaducts. The journey continues aboard the Picasso railcar to Les Herbiers station. Les Herbiers station, terminus! Each young person can climb into the unusual driving cabin of the railcar.
